Amanda Gibson is a counselor at Insight Counseling Centers’ Murfreesboro location. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has a strong passion for helping people, particularly from a person-centered approach, focusing on the client as a whole and encouraging personal growth and fulfillment. She currently has experience working with clients struggling with gender and sexuality issues, eating disorders, and poor self-image.
In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her husband, family, and close friends. Enjoying the outdoors, hiking, taking her dogs for walks, cooking and reading are some activities she finds relaxing. Additionally, she has a strong passion and love for animals, and strives one day to open up an animal sanctuary to incorporate animal therapy into her future private practice.
