I am a counseling intern at Insight Counseling Centers, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. My goal is to create an empathetic environment to help others feel validated, supported, and empowered. I strive to assist others in achieving personal goals and overcoming barriers. I understand that every collection of experiences is different and unique, as I am devoted to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I have a focused interest in working with young adults and older adults struggling with trauma, religious issues, relationships, and anxiety/depression. In addition, I have a passion for helping veterans and service members struggling with PTSD.
I love nature and I spend my free time doing anything outdoors, including hiking, gardening, and walking my dog. I also enjoy yoga and incorporate yoga and meditation practices into my own self-care routine.
