I am a counseling intern at Insight Counseling Centers while pursuing an Ed.S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Murray State University. Eventually, I plan to become certified in EMDR as an extra tool to utilize with clients.
After being on the other side of the chair as a client for so many years, I knew that becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor was the path for me! I love the holistic nature of counseling and how it is meant for everyone. Each client has a different story, so it is important for me to take a Person-Centered approach and utilize techniques that best fit the individual and their circumstance. I do not believe we are meant to go through life alone, and I hope that I can be a source of encouragement and support for each individual who walks through my door.
In my free time I enjoy investing in my faith community and spending time with family and friends. Some other interests of mine include baking, sewing, and planning trips!
