Mart is a counseling intern at Insight Counseling Centers, pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lipscomb University. With over three decades in corporate management and leadership roles, he is a testament that it’s never too late to consider a new path!
Mart believes the therapeutic journey is a spirit-led process, one that is motivated by the inevitable suffering of the human condition and, simultaneously, driven by the desires and passions of our uniquely inherent, though often hidden or distorted, authentic selves. Offering a humanistic, relational approach to therapy, Mart places strong emphases on narrative and existential meaning-making and purpose. He is eager to walk alongside men and women as they share their stories of hope and disappointment; of love and loss; of joy and pain; of denial and acceptance; of brokenness and redemption.
As our wounding, grief, inmost thoughts, and fears are brought into the light of another compassionate soul, healing begins, and we move one step closer to our best selves. This courageous step towards the light – towards wholeness and fullness of life – can have a profound effect on individuals and on their communities. You are worthy of a better life, and you don’t have to go it alone. Reach out and join Mart in this sacred space.
