Amanda Gibson is a counseling intern at Insight Counseling Centers, pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has a strong passion for helping people, particularly from a person-centered approach, focusing on the client as a whole and encouraging personal growth and fulfillment. She currently has experience working with clients struggling with gender and sexuality issues, eating disorders, and poor self-image. She is currently taking clients at the Murfreesboro location.
In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her husband, family, and close friends. Enjoying the outdoors, hiking, taking her dogs for walks, cooking and reading are some activities she finds relaxing. Additionally, she has a strong passion and love for animals, and strives one day to open up an animal sanctuary to incorporate animal therapy into her future private practice.
