I am happy to be serving with Insight Counseling Centers in Clarksville, TN. I am a graduate of Divine Mercy University’s School of Counseling where I had the privilege of simultaneously completing training as a Certified Clinical Traumatologist with the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. In addition to trauma-focused work using EMDR and Brainspotting, I enjoy working with couples, parents, those struggling with mood-spectrum disorders, and supporting my clients’ personal growth and development goals. In my capacity as Regional Coordinator, I provide mental health education to organizations and companies located in Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Montgomery, Robertson, and Stewart Counties with the goal of destigmatizing mental health and familiarizing these communities with Insight.
My approach to therapy begins with the premise that you are good, imbued with unassailable dignity, and meant to flourish. I take time in the beginning to get to know you, your story, and how your current issues fit into that narrative. I work to make sure you feel comfortable, and I appreciate that some people take time to get there and that is okay. I work to see your presenting problem as you understand it and then walk with you toward growth and flourishing based on what we find works best for you.
A few words about myself on a personal level: I look forward to working and growing with Insight in Clarksville. I consider myself to be unflappably hopeful and enjoy serving others and watching them succeed. In my free time, I love spending time with my wife and three children, hiking, learning new hobbies, or reading. I look forward to meeting you soon!
