Are you feeling overwhelmed by the constant demands of modern life? Do you long for a greater sense of calm, focus, and clarity? Join Joanna Michael, LPC-MHSP(Temp.), at the Hendersonville Public Library for a mental health talk called, “The Power of Presence,” and discover how a few simple shifts can transform your daily experience. Learn what mindfulness means, why it’s more important now than ever, and gain practical, easy-to-implement strategies to bring more peace and presence into every moment.

After the talk, Megan Pingle, sound healer, will facilitate our sound bath. What’s a sound bath? We’ve heard “sound baths offer all the benefits of meditation, without the effort.” Enjoy a 40-minute session designed to take you into blissed-out relaxation. It’s an experience where guests receive a range of therapeutic sounds shown to calm the body and mind. You can bring a yoga mat to lie down or sit in a chair during the sound bath.

Whether you’re a seasoned sound bath enthusiast or new to the idea, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and restore balance to mind, body, and spirit.

PLUS We’ll be celebrating Insight Counseling Centers’ 40th Anniversary!
