My theoretical approach to therapy is with cognitive behavioral therapy as a base, with aspects of solution-focused therapy mixed in. I come to the therapeutic process with the whole person in mind, their physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental aspects. I also love working with TCKs (third culture kids). Having lived internationally for many years, I appreciate and respect diverse cultures and backgrounds, and I love incorporating the expressive arts into my sessions.
We all go through hard seasons of life, and I am here to help you, or your child, as you walk through yours. My job as counselor is to bear witness to your story, and together we will come up with a way forward. My hobbies include trying new recipes, traveling, and painting. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
Mi enfoque teórico de la terapia es con la cognitivo-conductual como base, y aspectos de la terapia centrada en soluciones mezclados. Llego al proceso terapéutico teniendo en mente a la persona en su totalidad, sus aspectos físicos, emocionales, espirituales y mentales. También me encanta trabajar con NTC (niños de la tercera cultura). Habiendo vivido internacionalmente durante muchos años, aprecio y respeto las diversas culturas y orígenes. También, me encanta incorporar las artes expresivas en mis sesiones.
Todos pasamos por etapas difíciles de la vida y estoy aquí para ayudarte a ti o a tu hijo mientras pasas a través la tuya. Mi trabajo como consejero es ser testigo de tu historia, y juntos encontraremos un camino a seguir. Mis pasatiempos incluyen probar nuevas recetas, viajar y pintar. Ofrezco terapia tanto en inglés como en español.
