September is National Recovery Month. Established in 1989 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), this campaign serves as a reminder that recovery is possible and that help is available. It’s a time to share stories of resilience, reduce the stigma surrounding addiction, and encourage individuals and families to seek support. By celebrating recovery, we affirm the power of community, compassion, and second chances.
