Hello! I am a trauma-informed intern who emphasizes cultural humility and the importance of the client’s perspective. I care deeply about LGBTQ+ issues, chronic pain/illness, and how trauma can impact life transitions. I believe that our experiences in life inform the stories we tell ourselves about the world. These internal stories are often meant to protect us, but sometimes we have to look at them from a different angle when they cause us great pain or behaviors that do not serve us. Collaboration is key in therapy, and I believe that through my training in the counseling profession and your lived experience, we can find an internal story that better serves you.
