As children and teens develop and grow, inherent phases and difficulties arise. Although typical, these phases can be extremely difficult. Counseling with children and adolescents looks different from counseling with adults — it is geared for them and completely crafted to assist them where they are, developmentally. We use various techniques to make children feel at ease in the session, and we aim to explore their emotions in ways they can understand and express what they are feeling.
