I am a counseling intern at Insight Counseling Centers while completing an M.A. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. After graduation, I will complete hours toward the Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider designation. In addition, I am pursuing training in Expressive Arts Therapy and trauma therapy.
My approach to clients is to listen well so I can foster a connection. It is imperative that each individual I see feels their story is heard and honored. I want clients to feel safe in the counseling space so they might fully be themselves when they are in session with me. In a safe environment, I believe vulnerability is possible. If I can foster this secure environment for my clients, I believe they are best able to share their challenges and hope for healing. From this place of hope, I work alongside each person to set goals, gain self-awareness, and learn tools to live a fulfilling life.
In my spare time, I enjoy travel, exploring the mountains with my family, reading, and playing with my dogs. I look forward to working with you!
