"I had moved, I had just gotten married, and I had just started two new jobs, two part-time jobs. There was just a lot of change in my life in a really short period of time. Working in a church like that, I would kind of consider it very much a helping profession. So, you know, focusing on other people and pouring into people, I was having some stress and anxiety about dealing with that chaos, and I needed a space to kind of speak that and breathe."

What does success in therapy look like?

A client experiencing emotional dysregulation due to life transitions seeks help. Struggling with anger, sadness, and fear, the client feels stuck between responsibilities at home and dissatisfaction at work. Through compassionate dialogue, they discover alternative coping strategies and resources, enabling them to explore new paths forward.

Tiffany’s Story

"Before I started counseling, I had a history with depression since childhood, and I had also kind of been in this cycle of having mental breakdowns. I was recently married and had a baby, and so that was really challenging for me. Having a husband and a child, you really can't go into that shell anymore, and I think just the pressure of having that responsibility caused the breakdowns to happen more frequently. So, I decided it's time to get some help, and I looked into counseling and found Insight."
