When we think of trauma, we often think of those who have served in the military, those who have been a victim of a violent crime, or those who have experienced a life-threatening accident; however, trauma can also be more subtle as we are subjected to violent images and threats to our life and safety on a regular basis. Regardless of the source or intensity, many of our counselors have specialized training to assist with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and its residual effects in trauma survivors.
