Yohana Temesghen is a Licensed Masters Social Worker with experience in issues related to childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, work stress, and relationship stress. She has facilitated Nurturing Parenting training in the community and led a trauma-informed, person-centered group. Yohana is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has worked with survivors of abuse to reclaim their power and develop resilience. She has volunteer experience with the Crisis Hotline providing a caring voice and a compassionate ear to help callers in their darkest hour. She has also led a group on co-dependency and helped clients to develop healthy boundaries in their relationships. She enjoys working with adults of all ages who are struggling with adjustment and life transitions, including new moms dealing with pregnancy and postpartum and family members of loved ones dealing with major mental illness and addiction.
